Nishikant Dubey, BJP Member of Parliament and the party's candidate from Godda, has raised accusations of corruption against the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), claiming that the fare for their helicopter rides is abnormally low, amounting to only Rs 100. Dubey took to social media to express his concerns, urging the Election Commission to investigate the possibility of corruption facilitated through these helicopter rides. Meanwhile, BJP spokesperson Pratul Shahdev has echoed Dubey's sentiments, emphasizing that such low fares are unprecedented even on a global scale, fueling further controversy over the issue.

The allegations stem from permissions granted by the Jharkhand State Sports Promotion Society, allowing helicopter parking at the sports village for 48 days spanning from April 19 to June 5. While Dubey has demanded elections to be conducted under President's rule in the state amidst these allegations, Congress has dismissed the claims, attributing them to BJP's desperation in the face of electoral defeat.
